I last smoked marijuana on Sept. 22, 2007. Which is about 70 something days ago. I had my test last friday. I rarely smoked marijuana before that day and I have also had 3 haircuts since the last time i smoked ( im a guy). I also used this product http://www.statdetox.com/shampoo_kit.htm

Kind of off topic but... they are also doing a background check and i have misdeameanors for underage possession of alcohol. Would this be a reason for them not to hire me?

Employers especially in "at will states" do not need any reason to hire, fire or deny employment to any person for almost any reason. And any kind of criminal background is not a good thing, it is better to be honest about it and most places even certain types of felonies don't bar a person from employment

hair tests can detect pot up to 120 days, so you will probably be caught. hair length is irrelvant. pot is illegal and you desrve to suffer any/all consuquences of your actions. I'm sure you knew it was illegal yet did it anyway. this is the result.

With your background having misdeameanors, that's not a felony. It depends on what kind of work you are getting into. Some employers are really strict with your background. Your hair folicles keep all the substances you have used for over 5 years. Since you have had your hair cut, I don't see a problem with that! You should be fine.

Companies that actually do background checks are looking to protect themselves from hiring employees who are either untrustworthy or engaged in dangerous, illegal activities....so....what do you think?
