Passing a hair follice drug test?

Ok I know that they are fairly accurate for about 90 days. However, are there ways to dilute the drug readings? Over the last 3 months I probably smoked marijuana at least once a week. I also consumed psilocybin mushrooms about 6 months ago.

Could I maybe try some detox regimens or spending a little extra time washing my hair and scalp?

Also, Is there anyone else who has shared this experience and passed or failed?if failed how much drug use?

If you did drugs and your going to have a hair follice drug test, you are screwed. There is no way to get this outta your hair. Your hair is like a diary of your life, Sorry but there are no detox products for this

The drug residue doesn't stay in your hair for 90 days. It stays in your hair forever. Until you cut that hair off, and it gets thrown away and decomposes.

The test is run on approximately 90 days worth of hair growth, the first inch and a half or so of the hair shaft. If you have taken any drug in the time that hair was growing out of your head, it can be detected. And, since it is integrated with the keratin protein of the hair, it cannot be removed.

You're probably going to fail this drug test. Sorry.

Plenty of over-the-counter items available. You'll be washing your hair for 45 minutes before the test and spending about $30 - $50 on a treatment, but they will work most of the time. I've passed and failed as well, so it's not 100%, but you're a light user and it should work. The only one that has worked for me 100% is by a company called Zydot and is called Ultra Clean. I don't know if it's still on the market.

Professional salons can use a Nexus product who's name escapes me right now to do the same thing, but I've heard it's less than perfect as well and have never used it myself. Ask them - be honest, it's not like a stylist will break out cuffs and arrest you for it if you ask.

Can't believe haw many people are telling you you're screwed - they're dead wrong. Google "Zydot" or "Ultra Clean" or "Detoxify" before you listen to them.

Facts - hair tests go back as far as 180 days max, not forever, and usually only about 90. Hair CAN be temporarily stripped of traces of toxins with the right products, I've done it many times and was a daily pot and occasional cocaine user when I did. No problem, passed 75% of the time.

Good luck - what we do in our own time is our own business and companies should be banned from these types of tests unless they want to pay us 24-hours a day to keep clean. I've been clean for years now, but it's by choice. Corporate America should not be allowed to make this, or any, choice for us.

Oh yea, and just so you don't take the stupid "shave your head" advice, they'll get it from somewhere else if you do that. I had a friend who shaved his whole body %26amp; they just took a sample from his nose. Of course, they could always just fail you for shaving yourself as well, assuming you did so to circumvent the test.
