Hair follicle drug test?

A friend of mine is having trouble getting his kids from his ex-wife. She was ordered to do a hair follicle drug test with in a time frame which she did not. She came back positive which is what we wanted but now we have to wait a week before he goes back to court the judge said he will determine custody on the level detected of drug use.

We searched the Internet and it says in hair follicle drug test it's hard to detect light users of dope so we are thinking the level is high enough he may win custody ... whats your opinion or thoughts.

reading a hair follicle test is like looking at rings on the inside of a tree. When they examine it, it will show if she has been continuously using drugs or just occasionally. The judge can then determine if the drug use is a risk to the children and if so he could award custody to your friend. I think this is stupid as I think any drug use is dangerous to children but I guess there is a difference between someone who smokes a joint once in a while or someone who uses heroin everyday.
