If you had taken 3 drags off a pot pipe and had to have a hair drug test 2 and half months later will this test positive for marajuana?and my hair is always cut about a inch in length.Thanks any info

you should be fine.... they only check the hair closest to the follicle and after 2.5 months it will have grown out...

I may be wrong but it is my understanding that a hair test as you call it will show "all" drugs that you have done for a very long time, possibly years I am told. I would do some on line reading to find out. I know that the hair follicle drug test is admissable in a court of law and is more respected now than a breathalizer or a field sobriety test.

Cutting your hair will not have any affect on any test. The hair test that you are referring to is actually a Hair Follicle test. The follicle is the root, in your skin, where the hair grows from. You can't cut that off.
