Hair Drug Test. I only have 1/2 inch of hair.?

I only have 1/2 inch of hair and from what ive been reading, for every 1/2 inch of hair = 30 days they can test for. I hear they also take 1 1/2 inch so they can test for 90 days. but if i dont have 1 1/2 inch, will they take leg or arm hair. I dont have puebes, plus i wouldnt let them snip them, thats private. Im going to shave my pits. But really if they take my head hair, it would be 8weeks (2months) since my last toke, which is = to 1inch, i should be ok right? also, if they wont take the1/2inch head, and they take my leg or arm hair, does that only have 30 days of detection cause my arm hair is only 1/2 inch too. PLEASE HELP ME. IF YOU'VE USED THOSE HAIR TESTS AND PASSED OR FAILED, PLZ LET ME KNOW. i have yet to hear a pass or even a failed story

i know someone that used one and failed. But they had like 4 or 5 inch long hair. But they only clipped like 1-2 inch off the bottom.

Go and make it difficult to do a drug test and you'll soon find it difficult to get a paycheck. Even though I have nothing to worry about, I asked about this the last time I had a drug test. Urine test is the cheapest and fastest. Hair test can be used if requested or urine is not available. Since I keep my hair short, they said they had optional locations to pull from. If that don't work, they will draw blood. If you refuse, it's considered a failure.

Hair test are the most definitive tests I've seen. My buddy tried to shave all the hair on his whole body the night before his test, and that was an automatic failure. I shaved my head before my first test, and got busted from leg hair. I also don't think it matters how long the hair is. I think they test whats at the follicle. I'm not saying you won't pass by doing what you're doing, but it ain't very likely. They cover pretty much all the bases on a hair test.

It would be MUCH easier to just stop smoking pot numb nuts. As far as your lack of crotch hair goes THEY would'nt snip them. THEY would make YOU do it. Any hair removal would be considered a "masking agent". Good luck stone head.

First off, STOP DOING DRUGS!!!!, its the best way to get out of hair test. But since you already have, I say you might be ok on this one. Most companies that do hair tests have the hair tested for the last 60 to 90 days. Of course this depends on the length of the hair. Base the average grow of hair at about 1/2 to 1 inch a month. If it has been 2 months, then you can estimate that your hair is at least 1 inch longer that when you smoked. Since the drug starts in the follicle and migrates up as the hair grows, then you should be alright. And they will take the hair on your head. The only time they won't is when there is not enough there to get any kind of sample. And not having hair won't save you either. If they can't get a hair sample, then they can order a blood test to be done, which is way more accurate and goes back just as far. For first-timers, you can own up to a test failure BEFORE you are tested and they will not fire you, but you will have to attend some kind of drug rehab.
