In hair, as long as it takes to grow out (if you cut all your hair now, traces will not be found) unless you are still doing it. In urine, as long as your body requires to completely metabolize it (same for hair.) Why in hell are you taking this stuff?

Lab is correct. It takes however long it takes until the hair grows out and is cut off. They pull out your hair from the root to test it. So you can't just shave it.
If a meth user was to NEVER cut their hair, the meth would still be traceable for at least 10 years. No matter how much you wash it or what you wash it with.
I suggest you tell your cousin to find a job that they don't do hair-analysis testing. Also tell them great job on quitting such an addictive drug.
