They smoked it from a bowl and not while I was in that room. I didn't sit very close to it, but I could smell weed in the air. I just walked by it once. It was a week ago and my hair drug test will be next week.

No, when they pull the hair to test for drugs the area they are testing is in the scalp/oils of the hair. It isn't the outer side. This is the reason they can tell if you have been smoking it for a month, a year, or even10yrs.. They can tell when you quit smoking it/how long you have gone without it. The only way they can not detect marijuana in your system is if you quit smoking it ten years before pulling a peice of the hair. This means you have to litterly quit smoking it and not smoke it one time during the ten yrs. If they went by the outer side of the hair then they would have to accuse almost everyone of smoking it. Also they do not only use hair from your scalp they can use hair from any part of your body.

Yeah it will register, but most likely not in a high enough level to fail your drug test.

Vanishingly unlikely. The hair test is for stuff like cocaine.

I think that it will come up, but definetly not high enough of a level to say you have smoked it. Pot can stay in your system for up to three months wether youve smoked it or not, just to a lesser extent.
